Either you were surprised or you weren’t, but Verizon has just formally announced that the iPhone 4 will be coming to Verizon in early February. (more details to come)

Ok, so there aren’t many more details aside from the fact that existing customers will be able to pre-order on February 3rd while new customers can order online/in Verizon or Apple Stores on February 10th. Price points will be $199 for the 16gb and $299 for the 32 gb and mobile hotspot is included (up to 5 devices). No mention of plan pricing as of yet, but I’ll update this post if that information comes to light.

The phone also uses the CDMA network and not the new/faster LTE Network, so you will not be able to use the internet while you are on a call… honestly though, I’ve never used the internet while on a call on my AT&T iPhone…

  • I am more interesting in seeing the new ad campaign that AT&T is going to launch against Verizon. It could get nice and heated. Also maybe this will loosen up the data usage on AT&T, or at least lets hope x=. Remember kids no texting while doing tests
