In some areas, apparently the suburbs of Chicago (which is where I live), McDonalds has been pulling the Double Cheeseburger and the McChicken off of the dollar menu and instead listing them as $1.19. I haven’t gotten a Double Cheeseburger around here in a while (I did have one on our way to Carbondale last weekend and it was still $1), but seriously, 19 cents? That’s not really going to stop me from eating a Double Cheeseburger…. when I’m on my way home from the bars late at night and it’s the only thing open and double cheeseburgers are like crack when you’re drunk.
