If you’re a fan of Childish Gambino and/or Yelawolf, then yesterday was a pretty good day for you. Childish Gambino released his highly anticipated 18 track mixtape titled ROYALTY and Eminem protege Yelawolf released his 10 track mixtape “Heart of Dixie“. If you’re unfamiliar with these guys here’s my suggestion, for Childish Gambino, hit up iamdonald.com and grab the new mixtape, then grab his older releases like Culdesac and The EP. Most of his music has been released for free, the only album you’ll have to actually pay for is CAMP, and it’s well worth it. As for Yelawolf, despite what you may think, “Radioactive” is not his first album, it’s just the first album he put out on Eminem’s label, Shady Records. “Radioactive” is alright, but it’s nothing compared to his debut “Trunk Muzik 0-60”. Unlike Gambino though, Yelawolf’s back catalog isn’t free, however the new mixtape, “Heart of Dixie” is, but there’s always his YouTube channel where you can check out a few new and old tracks.

So if you’re into hip-hop and looking for something new to listen to, definitely check out these two mixtapes. And if you’re a 50 Cent fan, be on the lookout for his new, free mixtape which will hit the internet on Friday. It was supposed to come out Tuesday I believe, but he pushed it back for some reason.
