This was a great movie, hands down. Unlike Michael Moore who comes off as a prick in most of his movies, or edits his stuff to come off the way he wants it to, Morgan Spurlock seems to tell it like it is. If he is editing it to make a point, I couldn’t tell.
I’m sure you’re asking yourself “How could one man find Osama bin laden when the rest of the world can’t?” Well Obviously if we’re still looking for Bin Laden, Spurlock didn’t find him. Sorry to ruin the end of the movie, but he doesn’t. I’m sure he came pretty close though based on the ending of the film, but that doesn’t stop the movie from being extremely interesting. He travels all over the middle east getting people’s views and opinions of America and Americans while also trying to get information as to the where abouts of Osama.
I enjoyed Spurlock’s last movie “Super Size Me” and this one was much better than that one. It seems to give pretty good incite into what the people of these middle eastern countries think about Americans and the American Government. Most of them were extremely friendly towards Spurlock and had no problem talking on camera, but there were a few that wanted nothing to do with him. Overall I would definitely recommend checking this one out. It’s about an hour and a half long and I was never bored. I could have done without some of the “video game-type CG” that he used at the beginning and a few random spots in between, but I guess he needed a place to do some voice overs and he didn’t want to talk over video clips. So check it out and let me know what you guys thought.
