81st Annual Academy Awards

The Oscars are about to start in a few minutes and I figured it would be a good time to post my predictions for this evening. In all honesty I haven’t seen a lot of the movies nominated so most of these predictions are based on guesses and the awards that the movies have won previously. I never really sit down and actually watch the Academy Awards so we’ll see how long I last tonight, there’s some good shows on MTV that I may have to switch over to watch during the dull moments of the awards show. I’ve read that they are making a few changes this year in order to switch things up… like not announcing who is going to be presenting the awards. Really? People actually care who is presenting the awards? I thought the whole ordeal was who actually wins the awards, but I guess not. There’s also something about a musical meadly for the best song awards or something, I don’t know…

Check out after the jump for my predictions and I’ll let you know how many I got right at the end of the show. Bolded ones are the ones I got right.
